We are spoilt by the amazing range of tasty, seasonal and fresh produce that we have access to in the Scottish Borders. Here at The Buccleuch Arms our commitment to using as many local ingredients as possible not only reduces our carbon footprint, but provides our customers with wholesome and delicious food.

Owners, Billy and Rachael Hamilton both come from a farming background and strongly support the farming industry. Food is a subject close to their heart and using the freshest, seasonal and local produce is integral to their philosophy.

Complimenting the food is a carefully selected wine list featuring some of the best grape varieties from around the globe. Our bar is always fully stocked with Scottish, English and local beers, a wide array of spirits, liqueurs and of course, a gantry full of Scottish Single Malt Whisky. Keep an eye out too for our guest ales which are a big hit with the locals. Some of our regular breweries we are using include, Broughton Ales, Stewart Brewing, Timothy Taylor, Caledonian, Isle of Skye brewery, Theakstons, Marstons, Greene King.
We believe our friendly, professional and well trained staff will make your meal a comfortable and most memorable one.
Our beef is sourced from Buccleuch estates in southern Scotland and is hung for a minimum of 21 days. Buccleuch Food group is also now supplying us with our lamb and pork.
Local butcher Craig Douglas in the village of St. Boswells supplies us with beef for our very own steak pie as well as other products. Burnside Farm Foods in Rutherford just 3 miles away supply further meat produce including poultry and game.
When it comes to fish, we have had great support from our local fishmonger in Eyemouth, D.R.Collins, one of the most noteworthy fish suppliers in the country and winners of many awards. Fish is ordered and delivered 6 days a week and we have seen our sales of fish rise dramatically this year as customers know how fresh our fish is.

If you are looking for a venue for your wedding for up to about 100 guests then you can’t beat it.
