Food plays a very important part of our business at the Buccleuch, whether its our fabulous breakfasts, morning coffee with home made scones or award winning bar meals. Whilst our menus change with the seasons we make great use of our specials board which often change twice daily
Our kitchen uses as many local ingredients as possible in our effort to support business in the Scottish Borders countryside. Our beef is sourced from Buccleuch estates in southern Scotland and is hung for a minimum of 21 days. Buccleuch Food group is also now supplying us with our lamb and pork.
Craig Douglas who runs the butchers shop in the village here of St. Boswells supplies us with beef for our very own steak pie as well as other products. We have started trading again recently with Burnside Farm Foods in Rutherford just 3 miles away for further meat produce including poultry and game.
When it comes to fish, we have had great support from our local fishmonger in Eyemouth. D.R.Collins, one of the most noteworthy fish suppliers in the country and winners of many awards. Fish is ordered and delivered from them 6 days a week and we have seen our sales of fish rise dramatically this year as customers know how fresh our fish and by keeping the dishes simple the flavours speak for themselves.
We believe our friendly and well trained staff will make your meal a comfortable and most memorable one.

Wine / Drinks
With such great food on offer we have to provide adequate beverages alongside them. Our bar is always fully stocked with Scottish, English and local beers, a wide array of spirits, liqueurs and of course, a gantry full of Scottish Single Malt Whisky.
Real ale is always on offer, but as we only have one pump it is changing 3 or 4 times a week. Some of our regular breweries we are using include, Broughton Ales, Stewart Brewing, Timothy Taylor, Caledonian, Isle of Skye brewery, Theakstons, Marstons, Greene King.
Our wine list has been carefully selected, however, much reduced in this last year. Because of this, it cannot reflect countries and grape varietals that are seen in larger lists, instead they are a great straightforward range, all of which turnover large volumes.

Gift Vouchers
Our Gift Vouchers have proved extremely popular over the years. We now make them to your requirements even with a name and message on them as required.
They are sold from £10.00 and upwards for bar or restaurant meals, however, they can be purchased for an overnight stay, any of our packages or for a treat such as a bottle of Champagne and Flowers in room on arrival.
